Marc Guehi appeared to refuse the Man of the Match award after helping Manchester City to a 3-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday.
A day on from Arsenal's slip-up at home to Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium, City produced a dominant second half performance to move within six points of the Premier League leaders.
Nico O'Reilly opened the scoring with a header just after half-time, before Guehi and Jeremy Doku added gloss on a hugely important win for Pep Guardiola's men - who take on Arsenal in a top-of-the-table clash next weekend.
January signing Guehi scored his second goal for the club and celebrated with pure passion, before being named the Player of the Match by Gary Neville on Sky Sports commentary.

However, the England international did not accept the award in an interview with Patrick Davison. Instead, he handed the prize to his teammate Cherki - who assisted both he and O'Reilly for their goals.
The pair then walked back down the tunnel, with a smiling Cherki holding the yellow award.

Neville had admitted that he would have given the award to O'Reilly had the 21-year-old not been forced off with a hamstring injury in the second half.
But Guehi was praised online by fans for his classy gesture, which underlines his humble personality.
One fan on X said: "Guehi just gave the Man of the Match award to Cherki. Most humble football player."
A second wrote: "Even Marc Guehi knows Cherki should’ve been man of the match loool."
A third user added: "Guehi was flabbergasted that Cherki wasn't given the MOTM by Neville lol."
A fourth commented: "Guehi giving Cherki his motm, top guy and leader."
Reflecting on the huge three points, Guehi said: "I think second half especially we did well. We just want to improve and want to get better. When you've got players like this guy [Cherki], it's fantastic. We keep our feet on the ground, recover and focus on the next one.
"The most important thing is we did the job today and we focus on the game coming up now. Let's move on to the next one."
