Mohamed Salah says there was 'tension' with his former Liverpool teammate as he has finally opened up on his relationship with the player.
Salah has played with several world-class players during his legendary spell at Liverpool.
He's currently playing with the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Alexis Mac Allister, not to mention forwards Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo.

The Egyptian also forged a fearsome attacking trident with Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane before the pair of forwards departed Anfield.
The attacking trio of Salah, Firmino and Mane will be remembered as one of the deadliest attacks in Premier League history following their incredible goal-scoring exploits.
But there were suggestions that Salah and Mane didn't necessarily see eye-to-eye.
Tensions between the pair once boiled over during a league game against Burnley.

And Salah has finally opened up on his relationship with Mane, revealing there was 'tension' with the Senegal forward.
Asked about his relationship with Mane, Salah replied: "Yes, there was tension with Sadio. Mind you, we were professional until the end; I don’t think it affected the team. It’s human to want more, I understand that; he’s a competitor. Off the pitch, we weren’t very close, but we always respected each other."
The 32-year-old also shared his thoughts on claims he is 'selfish', adding: "I don’t care. People can think what they want; it’s their right. But I invite everyone to note that the person who provided Mane with the most assists is me (18)."
Salah joined Liverpool one year after Mane arrived from Southampton for £34 million.

They played together for five seasons before Mane moved to Bayern Munich.
Mane scored an impressive 120 goals in 268 games during his spell with Liverpool, winning the Premier League title, among other trophies.
He spent just one season in Germany before linking up with Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia with Al Nassr.
