Florian Wirtz could break a golden rule set by Jurgen Klopp during his very first day as a Liverpool player.
After a whirlwind transfer saga that saw him linked with both Bayern Munich and Manchester City, Bayer Leverkusen star Wirtz is expected to be unveiled as Liverpool player in the coming days.
The German international has reportedly been undergoing a medical and signing his Liverpool contract on Friday, leading some fans to believe the announcement could even come in a matter of hours.

Liverpool will reportedly pay a British transfer record of £100m plus £16.5m in potential add-ons for Wirtz, who will pen a five-year deal with the Reds.
And in his first days with the Merseyside club, Wirtz could be tempted to break a long-standing rule implemented by former manager Klopp nearly a decade ago.
Without a doubt, Klopp will forever be remembered by Liverpool fans as one of the most important and beloved managers in the club's history.

The German led the Reds to eight major trophies, including their first Premier League title since the competition was founded in 1992.
To achieve such success at Liverpool, Klopp implemented a series of strict rules that all of his players must follow, including one that banned anyone who had not won a trophy with the club from touching the famous ‘This Is Anfield’ sign.
“Boss wouldn’t let us tough the sign until we won a trophy…now is the time,” explained former midfielder Gini Wijnaldum on social media after the first home game following the Champions League win in 2019.
But with Klopp now gone, replaced by current boss Arne Slot, it's possible that Wirtz won't be made aware of the rule as he no doubt takes part in several media shoots announcing his blockbuster move.

With several other players set to join Liverpool over the summer, Wirtz may not be the only one to break Klopp's golden rule ahead of their debut.
Wirtz's former Bayer Leverkusen teammate Jeremie Frimpong was revealed as Liverpool's first signing of the summer in May, while Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili is set to return to the club having spent the season on loan after signing last summer.
A deal for Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez is expected to be finalised in the coming days, while Liverpool have also been linked with moves for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi and Newcastle United star Alexander Isak.
