Jobe Bellingham has already made a big impression on the Borussia Dortmund dressing room since his summer switch from Sunderland.
Bellingham followed in his older brother’s footsteps this summer, swapping England for Germany in a £27million record sale from Sunderland to Borussia Dortmund.
He has big boots to fill after seeing his brother Jude’s success after leaving Birmingham for Dortmund which earned him a huge-money move to Real Madrid where he has since lifted the Champions League trophy.

Dortmund fans were given the first glimpse of Jobe in action during their first Club World Cup fixture against Fluminense and the 19-year-old impressed during his brief cameo which lasted 30 minutes.
Bellingham hasn’t only made a big impression on supporters as members of the Dortmund dressing room have now revealed how the youngster has settled into the club.
Club captain Julian Brandt revealed Bellingham has an ‘obsession’ with improving and noticed how physical the midfielder is.

Brandt said via BILD: “He has this obsession to become good.
“In terms of talent, he is a sensational boy. With a mentality that you know from your family.
“Physically, he's already very robust because he's already played in the second division in England.”
Defender Waldemar Anton added: “An outstanding footballer, he will help us in the coming weeks.”

Manager Niko Kovac claimed he was left surprised to see the midfielder arrive in optimal condition for the tournament in the United States.
He added: “He's in very, very, very, really good physical condition. That surprised me a little, but I was already pleased.”
The report from BILD also adds that Bellingham’s arrival is already making huge waves at the club, with his new no.77 jersey becoming the most bought Dortmund shirt this summer.

Dortmund debuted the kit during the Club World Cup and a third of their sales have been with Bellingham’s name on the back.
Interesting, he does not wear the family ‘Bellingham’ name on his shirt like his brother, instead opting for simply ‘Jobe’ on his strips.
Former Sunderland manager Tony Mowbray explained the youngster’s decision back in November 2024 stating: ““I think he’s trying to create his own identity.
“He doesn’t want to live off the back of his brother’s name; he wants to be the footballer that he is and show people what he can do.”

This theory seemed to be backed up during his Dortmund unveiling video where Jobe states: “I’m not following in anyone’s footsteps.”
Dortmund face Mamelodi Sundowns and Ulsan HD in their remaining Club World Cup group stage fixtures.
