However, if reports in The Times are to be believed, the tournament won’t be without its fair share of controversy.
Iran reached their fourth FIFA World Cup in a row earlier this year after navigating three gruelling AFC Asian Qualifier groups.
However, the USA has had long-standing visa rule which could prevent fans from the country from travelling to see their team play.

Haitian fans will also be prevented from entering the USA during the tournament due to strict rules around visas, but that is not all.
In another shocking twist, The Times are now reporting that the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement, commonly known as ICE, may conduct raids during matches.
Andrew Giuliani, who is currently in charge of the White House task force on the World Cup, said as much during his interview with The Times, going as far as to say that any fans considered a threat would not be allowed to enter the country during the competition.

There will be 48 different nations involved in the FIFA World Cup for the first time ever at next year’s tournament.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to get underway on 11th June, with the final scheduled to be played on 19th July.
