Manchester United are reportedly considering using Marcus Rashford as a makeweight in a potential deal for a highly rated Paris Saint-Germain forward.
Rashford appears to be thoroughly enjoying his loan spell in La Liga with Barcelona, having fallen out of favour with Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim.
Since joining the Catalan side, the England international has scored six goals and provided 11 assists in 21 appearances, helping Barca to the summit of La Liga after 16 league matches.
And despite his success in Catalonia, his next permanent move is still uncertain, with his United contract set to run until June 2028.

With Rashford reportedly earning around £325,000 per week, United will likely want his hefty salary off their wage bill if there is no way back for the academy graduate, which seems to be the case while Amorim remains Red Devils head coach.
Speaking to ESPN back in October, the forward made it clear that he wanted to stay at the five-time European champions beyond the 2025/26 campaign.

Rashford said: "I'm enjoying this football club and I think for anybody who loves football, Barcelona is one of the key clubs in the history of the game. For a player, it is an honour."
However, Rashford may not make his move permanent after all, if reports from Fichajes prove to be true.
The outlet claims that sources have indicated that Rashford could be used as part of a swap deal for PSG and France forward Bradley Barcola.
Twenty-three-year-old Barcola, who has previously been linked with both Arsenal and Liverpool, has registered five goals and three assists in 19 appearances for the European champions this term but faces tough competition from Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia for a starting spot in Luis Enrique’s side.
Liverpool and Arsenal are said to be back interested in a January move for Barcola, while United are also reportedly keen.
Any swap deal would likely include a transfer fee paid by United rather than a straight exchange, given the fact that Rashford is five years older than Barcola.
Like Rashford, Barcola’s current contract is set to expire in 2028, but negotiations in relation to a new deal have reportedly hit a snag.

Reports suggest a potential move would have to wait until next summer, when Rashford concludes his season-long loan at Barca and returns to Old Trafford.
Despite the supposed interest in the player, PSG boss Enrique claimed that he expected Barcola to play for Les Parisiens for “many more years”.
Speaking in June, the Spaniard said: "Bradley Barcola's future? I have no doubt he'll remain our player. We like the fact that our players are interesting to other clubs. But he's one of those young players we've been banking on. I expect him to play here for many more years."
