Bradley Barcola may have given the green light to a move for Arsenal as they hijack a Premier League rival's bid for the Paris Saint-Germain star.

Despite contributing to his side's spectacular victory over Inter Milan in the Champions League final and their fourth successive Ligue 1 title, it appears to PSG winger Barcola could be set to leave the club this summer.

The 22-year-old has scored 21 goals and provided 20 assists across all competitions this season and is currently a part of PSG's squad competing in the ongoing Club World Cup across the USA.

His impressive performances this season has attracted interest from several top clubs, including Premier League champions Liverpool, who may look to sign a new winger should Luis Diaz secure a move away from Anfield.

However, a new report has revealed that Arsenal have now entered the race for the Frenchman, and it appears that Barcola could be open to the move.

Ahead of next season, it is no secret that Mikel Arteta will look to bring in at least one elite forward to his squad as he hopes to finally led his side to glory in the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Recent reports have linked the Gunners with several different strikers, including Sporting star Viktor Gyokeres and RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko, but is is now believed that they will also target a replacement for left winger Gabriel Martinelli.

And, according to a report from French outlet L’Equipe, Arsenal are hoping that they can rival Liverpool's pursuit for Barcola this summer, despite the fact that an initial approach has been knocked back by PSG.

But, with another report adding that Barcola is hesitant' to sign a new contract with PSG until he sees how the club acts in the transfer market this summer, it appears that he isn't against leaving in the coming months.

However, any potential deal for the young Frenchman will not be easy, with PSG likely to demand a fee of over £100million, despite the fact that Barcola spent most of the season on the bench following the signing of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and the emergence of Desire Doue.

But Arsenal will reportedly consider selling Martinelli to gather the money needed, should they get encouragement from Barcola that he would welcome a move to the Emirates.
