A third person said: “Zubimendi man… right foot, left foot it doesn’t matter he just moves the ball so quick on either flank, his weight of pass looks great too.”
A fourth added: “Zubimendi actually just passes the ball forward every time. Very refreshing to see. He’s gonna be good for us.”
Arsenal beat Milan 1-0, courtesy of a second-half Bukayo Saka goal. The game still went to a ceremonial penalty shoot-out, that saw Zubimendi net his spot-kick but Arsenal lose 6-5.
Zubimendi is one of Arsenal’s four summer signings so far, with Noni Madueke, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga having also joined.

Meanwhile, Viktor Gyokeres and Cristhian Mosquera are believed to be on the cusp of signing for the Gunners.
Zubimendi told the BBC he had already hit it off with new manager and compatriot Arteta.

"I don't know what he saw in me, but I saw him as one of the top coaches in Europe." he explained. "At the end of the day, I wanted a quality coach when I left Real Sociedad.

"I think I've found him. In the few days I've been here, I've seen how meticulous he is about every aspect of the game, so I think he's the one.
"I think I'm going to try to do things I didn't do before. Playing in that position, I'll try to bring balance and provide that passing outlet that I'm known for.
"Beyond that, I'm sure he'll ask me to do new things."
