Footage of Eberechi Eze talking about supporting Arsenal has resurfaced as the Crystal Palace man continues to be linked with a move to Spurs.
Eze, 27, has been linked with both Arsenal and Spurs throughout this summer, having impressed with Crystal Palace in recent years.
Yesterday, he played during the Eagles’ 0-0 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and saw a free-kick ruled out due to Marc Guehi – also linked with a move away amid interest from Liverpool – standing too close to the opposition’s wall.
After the match, Palace boss Oliver Glasner was pressed on the current situation concerning Eze’s future and admitted that his reported £68m release clause has now expired.

"Who knows this is the truth, what is written, there are rumours and so many rumours and everyone tells something for their own advantage, maybe,” said Glasner.

He added: "I am quite calm, but I also know we have two weeks to go and I know Ebs [Eze's] clause is gone, so it is the club's decision, and we will see what happens."
On Sunday, The Athletic’s David Ornstein reported that Spurs’ interest in the player was ongoing before Fabrizio Romano provided a further update on Monday.

Romano wrote on X: “Tottenham and Crystal Palace chairmen Daniel Levy and Steve Parish, in direct contact today for Eberechi Eze deal.
“Understand Spurs are willing to offer £55m fixed fee plus £5m add-ons to get the deal done.
“Eze informed Palace last week of his desire to join #THFC.”
And his ‘desire’ to join Spurs may come as a surprise based on previous footage which has resurfaced online ahead of the proposed move.

Back in 2018, while Eze was playing for Queens Park Rangers, the attacking midfielder revealed that his favourite team was Arsenal during an interview with Alessandro Morolli-Schiavone.
When asked why he liked Arsenal, Eze said: “I just supported them from [a] young [age], the way they play… I played with them when I was younger as well.”
He added: “When I was younger, I used to love Thierry Henry, and that’s sort of why I decided to sign there… obviously to play for the club you support, that’s what I wanted to do… I’ve grown a love for the team.”

Morolli-Schiavone then said: “You are a Gunners fan, so that means you rule out ever playing for Tottenham?”
"I don't know, I don't know about any of this. Maybe,” Eze answered.
