Crystal Palace fans are divided after spotting what star player Eberechi Eze immediately after the 0-0 draw with Chelsea.
Off the back of beating Premier League champions Liverpool in the Community Shield, Crystal Palace travelled to Stamford Bridge on Sunday to face Club World Cup winners Chelsea.
Ahead of the match, there was significant speculation surrounding Eze's involvement in the game, with some reports claiming he would not be included in the squad ahead of a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur.
However, the England international was named in the starting lineup and will have no doubt left the match frustrated after his stunning goal from a free kick was controversially disallowed in the first half, leading to the match finishing as a 0-0 draw.

But it's not just the controversial VAR decision that has got Palace fans talking on social media, as many of them have spoken out about Eze's actions immediately after the final whistle.

Throughout the summer, Eze has been linked with a transfer away from Crystal Palace, with London rivals Spurs and Arsenal believed to be the most likely destinations.
The 27-year-old being named in the starting lineup for Sunday led to some fans concluding that he would stay at the club this season, but his behaviour after the whistle did the complete opposite.

After the match ended, Eze was seen applauding Palace supporters in the away end, something that some fans have interpreted as a goodbye.
Posting the footage on X, Palace fan Paul wrote: "One love Eberechi Eze."
When asked by a Spurs fan if he thought the applause was a goodbye, Paul replied: "100%. He’ll give you everything and we will always love him."
Another Palace supported added: "That looked emotional, something definitely felt different today."

However, not all fans agreed that Eze's actions signalled that he was leaving the club, as one simpy replied: "Reading into it too much imo."

“Eze is keen on a Spurs move, for sure,” Romano wrote. “The deal depends on the two clubs now, who remain in direct talks.”
As it stands, it is unclear exactly how much Spurs are likely to pay to secure Eze's services after his £68million release clause expired on Friday.
