Liverpool fans have taken to social media after spotting transfer target Marc Guehi blanking Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner.
Just one week after their victory over Liverpool in the Community Shield, Crystal Palace got their Premier League season off to a promising start on Sunday afternoon.
Despite heading into the match as underdogs, the Eagles held Club World Cup winners Chelsea to a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge, having had a winning goal from Eberechi Eze controversially disallowed.
After the match, speculation regarding the future of Eze began to appear online after the star player was spotted potentially saying goodbye to Palace fans in attendance.

But the bad news for Palace fans doesn't stop there, as captain Guehi also fuelled transfer rumours after he appeared to blank manager Glasner, amid links with Liverpool.

With reports claiming that Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate could leave the club as early as this summer, the Premier League champions have been eager to sign new centre backs before the window closes.
Giovanni Leoni became the first centre back to move to Anfield in a £26million move from Serie A side Parma this weekend, but a deal for Guehi remains on the card.

And after seeing Guehi blatantly ignore Glasner after the Palace boss called his name to shake his hand following the draw with Chelsea, Liverpool fans are convinced that they will sign the England international.
Reacting to footage of the awkward moment on X, one Liverpool fan wrote: "Welcome to Anfield Marc Guehi!"
While another excitedly added: "VVD X Guehi Partnership incoming."
And another joked: "We're turning into the new Madrid."
However, several Palace fans hit back, suggesting that Guehi's behaviour could be explained by the fact that it was ultimately his mistake that led to Eze's winning goal being disallowed earlier in the match.

But that didn't stop Manchester United legend Roy Keane from criticising Glasner for making a moment out of the interaction when it wasn't necessary.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Keane said: "The player's just had a tough match, he's physically exhausted and the manager's going to have a little chit-chat knowing there's talk about him leaving.
"As a player you don't want to get involved in that. If you want to have a chat, we'll do it inside."
