David Ornstein has released a significant Arsenal transfer update before Mikel Arteta's side take on Manchester United.
The Gunners have travelled to Old Trafford to kick off their Premier League campaign on Sunday afternoon.
Arteta handed starts to new signings Martin Zubimendi and Viktor Gyokeres, with Noni Madueke and Cristhian Mosquera both on the bench.
There was, however, no sign of fellow new arrival Christian Norgaard, who was signed from Brentford last month but did not make the matchday squad.

Overall, Arsenal have brought in six new players this summer, with many fans questioning whether that would be the conclusion of their business.
But in a significant new update, Ornstein has revealed that the Gunners are still active in the market - but there is a major stumbling block to overcome.
"I think Arsenal would like to upgrade on the left side of attack if they can," he told NBC Sports. "They've identified that as an area if they are departures, which there's no sign of at the moment.
"They've been heavily linked with Rodrygo at Real Madrid. I don't know of any activity on that one, even though they've looked into it in the past.

"Arsenal have done a huge amount of work this summer. They've got a lot of PSR headroom, so they could do more. But they're tight on UEFA Financial Fair Play rules.
"Mikel Arteta faces a big season, and they [the Arsenal hierarchy] are squarely behind him."
Who could Arsenal sign and sell?
Arsenal's issues in terms of potential outgoings has been outlined by who was left out of their squad to take on Manchester United.

Aside from new signings and the injured Gabriel Jesus, five first-team players appear to have excluded from the squad for solely performance-based reasons by Arteta.
Jakub Kiwior, Reiss Nelson, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Fabio Vieira are all not involved at Old Trafford, and would appear to be the starting point for any sales.
One of those players could be soon to depart, with Turkish outlet Sporx claiming that Jose Mourinho and Fenerbahce have reached a 'major agreement' with Arsenal to sign left-back Zinchenko.

The Athletic reported last month that Fulham were in advanced talks to re-sign winger Nelson, who had a loan spell at Craven Cottage last season, but there appears to have been no further movement since then.
In terms of incomings, they have been linked with a move to sign Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze.
As per the London Evening Standard, Eze had a £68 million release clause in his contract but that expired on Friday, August 15.
Spurs are reportedly preparing a lower bid of £55 million to sign him, with the 27-year-old midfielder having been in action for Palace in their 0-0 draw at Chelsea on Sunday amid the speculation.
