Angry Ginge has been warned about his I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here salary being reduced significantly after making a huge impression on the show.

The streamer and Baller League manager signed up for the ITV jungle show and has been a revelation thus far, with many tipping him to go all the way and be crowned 'King'.

Ginge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, has smashed through three Bushtucker trials and provided plenty of entertainment for his fellow campmates.

Tipped to explode into the mainstream with commercial opportunities galore after his YouTube and Twitch success, the Soccer Aid star is reportedly being paid £100,000 for his appearance.

He and his fellow contestants had to follow a rule whereby they must remain in camp for at least 72 hours in order to receive their payment.

The figure given to the celebrities is a set fee and their performance in the programme does not increase or decrease the amount.

However, reductions are likely to be made as an infamous former contestant found out.

Iain Lee, a TV and radio host, appeared in the 2017 edition of the show and was best known for his involvement in a strawberry stealing incident with boxer Amir Khan.

It was reported by the Standard that Lee planned to use his fee to cover the costs of his mother's medical bills as she battled multiple multiple sclerosis.

However, in a recent TikTok posted, Lee revealed that his final fee was much less due to deductions made.

Explaining the situation when asked, he said: "The tax does take the edge of things. Your agent gets a cut, which is fine. I don't really remember it. I see to remember having to pay tax twice because you're earning it in Australia.

"I had to pay an Australian tax and then I think I had to pay a British tax as well."

Lee claimed that even if he exploited a loophole by having the money paid to 'Iain Lee incorporated', he would still be taxed double.

Ginge, a die-hard Manchester United fan, has experienced a real rags to riches story - being raised on a council estate but his mum and nan before achieving online success.

He previously lived in accommodation which he called the "pub" cost him just £350-a-month but came with a mould, peeling wallpaper and no shower.

His streaming exploits began in March 2021 and he was introduced to a new audience when he appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox alongside darts star Luke Littler.

According to The Mirror, he's estimated to have made between £804,000 and £1.1 million in the last year and his earnings should skyrocket after a breakout stint Down Under.
