England boss Thomas Tuchel has issued a warning to Marcus Rashford ahead the World Cup qualifier match against Latvia.
On Tuesday night, England face Latvia in the Daugava Stadium in Riga for a match that could secure their spot in the 2026 World Cup next summer.
Should the Three Lions come away with a win in the match, they will be guaranteed to finish top of Group K and therefore gain automatic qualification to the World Cup, which is set to be hosted across North America.
Ahead of the latest set of matches, England manager Tuchel selected an exciting England squad including Manchester United star Rashford, following his impressive form while on loan with Barcelona.

But before the game against Latvia, Tuchel has spoken out to give Rashford a clear warning about the remainder of his playing career.

After a shocking public fall out with United manager Ruben Amorim, Rashford left United in July, securing his dream move to Barcelona on a season-long loan.
Since then, the winger has impressed during his first games for the Spanish giants, scoring three goals and assisting five in his first 10 appearances.

This, combined with his form for Aston Villa during a short-term loan from January until the end of the 2024/25 season, is why Tuchel has brought Rashford back into the England squad despite not playing for his country since March 2024.
"It's not a question of talent, it's a question of whether he can prove the point at club and international level," Tuchel claimed during a news conference on Monday.
However, Tuchel warned Rashford that, given his age, he needs to ensure that he is still making the right decisions and focus on playing his very best every single day, or he could end up looking back on his career with regret.
"I think the limit for him is very, very high. Maybe higher than for others. He has the potential but potential is a dangerous word with high-level sports," Tuchel added.

"You have to reach your personal best on a regular basis, that is what is demanded on this kind of level and that is the challenge for him.

"He can be one of the best in the world because the quality I see in training. He still has to make these decisions. He is still in that moment, he is still young enough to take the right decisions, and not let go.
"Because otherwise he will be disappointed in 10 years at what could have been and what he made of it."

Ahead of his move to Barcelona, United manager Amorim had criticised Rashford for not showing the attitude of someone "giving the maximum every day".
During former manager Erik ten Hag's time as United manager, Rashford also received backlash after he called in sick for training after reportedly being seen on a night out in Belfast the evening before.
