Iliman Ndiaye’s future takes unexpected twist as third Premier League club enter race with swap deal tabled
A third Premier League club have reportedly registered interest in sought-after Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye while the Senegalese continues to be linked with Manchester City and Arsenal.
Ndiaye, who signed for Everton from Marseille in 2024, is reportedly valued at around £80million by the Merseyside club, with Toffees boss David Moyes already making it clear that he would like to keep his star man at the club for at least another season.
The 26-year-old is reportedly being viewed as a potential replacement for Savio, who left Manchester City for Tottenham in a £75million deal earlier in the transfer window.
City’s Jack Grealish, who spent last season on loan at Everton, could potentially go the other way, although the Englishman has also received a loan offer from Sunderland and been linked with a return to Aston Villa.

On August 26, talkSPORT reported Arsenal’s interest in Ndiaye, but City remain the most likely to sign him should he leave Everton this summer.
Third Premier League club keen on Iliman Ndiaye transfer
Now, French journalist Santi Aouna reports that Spurs have joined the race to sign Ndiaye, with former Everton forward Richarlison potentially being used as a makeweight in a proposed player-plus-cash deal.
He added: “Iliman Ndiaye is also among Tottenham's options to bolster their attack. The Spurs' interest in Folarin Balogun remains ongoing.
“Discussions between Iliman Ndiaye and Manchester City are also continuing and progressing positively, as explained yesterday. Jack Grealish could, for his part, join Everton.”
Ndiaye has also been heavily linked with Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, although interest from the Middle East appears to have cooled as the September 1 transfer deadline approaches.
Despite Ndiaye turning down multiple contract offers over the summer, Moyes has praised his attitude, explaining that he raises the squad's level.
Speaking at a press conference on August 28, the Scot addressed the transfer rumours surrounding Ndiaye and Grealish, saying: “I wouldn't talk about individual players at other clubs. Jack [Grealish] isn't at our club. He was brilliant for us, great boy, but it's wrong for me to talk about him if he's at another club. We're certainly not in a hurry to sell our best players, that's for sure.
“As far as I know, we've got nothing to be concerned about, we've had no contact from any club. Somebody told me we had contact with Al-Hilal during the summer, we had nothing from them. There's a lot stuff that floats around which is not always true. Maybe this is true but certainly the stuff previous wasn't.”
On Grealish, he added: “We've not made any final decisions on that, but we are in the recruitment business at the moment and we are looking to see if we can bring some players in if possible.
“There's no guarantee and to name one person would be wrong.”
Ndiaye, who is under contract until 2029, has produced 17 goals and four assists in 73 appearances for Everton.
The Toffees return to Premier League action on August 29 when they travel to Bournemouth.
