Jude Bellingham has spoken about his England situation after Thomas Tuchel elected against watching him in action on Tuesday night.
Bellingham played 90 minutes for Real Madrid as they lost 1-0 to Liverpool in the Champions League, with Alexis Mac Allister popping up with the winning goal on the hour mark.
The Birmingham City academy product has recently returned to fitness after recovering from surgery on his shoulder on July 17 following an extended period of playing through the pain.
He made his 10th appearance of the season against Liverpool, becoming the youngest player to reach 50 Champions League games.
Because he was still working on his fitness and minutes were being managed by his club, the 22-year-old was not included in England's squad for September qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia.
He was then left out of the squad for October's games, where England played Wales in a friendly before playing Latvia away from home.
England's Men's Player of the Year for 2024/25 will be hoping to add to his 44 caps for the Three Lions in upcoming games against Albania and Serbia, with Tuchel set to announce his next squad later this week.

I think you know whose call that is. I'd love to be [back in the squad] but it's not my call. I'll be waiting, we'll have to see."
Tuchel turns down chance to watch Bellingham
Tuchel, who previously apologised for publicly calling Bellingham's on-pitch behaviour "repulsive", had selected the midfielder in his first three camps.
Last month, he described Bellingham as an "important" and "big" player and appeared to hint at holding talks with the former Borussia Dortmund man ahead of the next batch of fixtures.
However, as reported by The Telegraph, Tuchel rejected the chance to see Bellingham in the flesh at Anfield on Tuesday.
While it was seen as an opportunity for the England boss to see Bellingham up close and personal and even hold in-person discussions, neither he or assistant Anthony Barry did not attend the game on Merseyside.

Bellingham quickly developed into a talismanic figure for England, scoring important goals like the last-gasp overhead equaliser against Slovakia at Euro 2024.
He has not featured since a defeat to Senegal in June but with other compatriots struggling for form, could well be given a recall after a return to his usual level.
Club and international teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold came on as a late substitute on his return to Liverpool but was loudly booed by fans of his former club.
In response, Bellingham said that the booing "isn't a reflection of how they feel about him" and claimed the jeering was done "to give their team the edge and throw him off a little bit".
