England manager Thomas Tuchel will hold talks with "an important player" in the coming weeks after he was left out of the Three Lions squad for games against Wales and Latvia.
Earlier this month, Tuchel made some bold calls when announcing his 24-man squad, with several high-profile names missing out.
Jack Grealish, who continues to impress for Everton, was left on the sidelines alongside Phil Foden and Adam Wharton, another player who has been one of the Premier League's standout performers in recent weeks.
Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham also missed out as Tuchel mentioned he was still "finding his rhythm" following surgery on his left shoulder in July.

Bellingham's omission was arguably the biggest talking point, especially after Tuchel publicly apologised for describing Bellingham's on-field behaviour as "repulsive".

The German made the remark after England's win over Senegal in June, when he praised Bellingham's "fire" but admitted his own mother views the midfielder's on-field behaviour as "repulsive".
"I used this word unintentionally, just to make it very clear," he said in August.

"There was no message. There was no hidden agenda. I fully understood and understand that it's my responsibility that I created these headlines. I am sorry for the upset and I am sorry for the headlines I created."
Tuchel added: "I am experienced enough and should've known better, I should've done better. I thought I had a little more credit with you guys (media) that I do all this in my second language. I did it the morning after a loss, with not a lot of sleep, in a live interview, and I used the wrong word. Again, it's my responsibility."
Despite being snubbed by Tuchel for games against Wales and Latvia, Bellingham has since been described as a "big player" by Tuchel, who confirmed he will hold talks with the Los Blancos midfielder between now and the November games against Serbia and Albania.
"I guess so. Why not? Of course, he's an important player, he's a big player," he said.

"I will speak to a lot of players, also to the guys that will get a text from me, who were not in camp, especially them. Because these guys who are now here, they have the reward and they feel the reward. And it's now necessary also that I stay in touch with the other guys."
Tuchel added: "No one has done anything wrong. It's not a punishment or whatever and I feel when I text them and I speak to them, that everyone is eager to come back and this is how it has to be. So there are a lot of guys out there who would deserve to be with us."
