Constantly at the centre of controversy in the squeaky bum stage of the FIFA World Cup knockouts, Gianni Infantino has continued to rile England fans with his choice of companions for the quarter-final game against Norway.
From the get-go, Gianni Infantino has raised eyebrows, linking up with Donald Trump for a leading role in the World Cup, setting new precedents for political involvement.
And with a bizarre rule that means he has to feature on the broadcast, racking up thousands of air miles to be an omnipresent figure across the entire USA, Canada, and Mexico, he has been pictured again watching England versus Norway.
But having often been spotted in esteemed company, his choice of companion in the crucial knockout game has outraged England fans.
England fans outraged as Gianni Infantino joined by Norwegian royal
With Infantino's box often flush with footballing royalty, the England versus Norway game was no different as Ronaldo Nazario (R9), Kaka, Alessandro Del Piero, and Cafu all took their seats behind the FIFA President.

But it was a different kind of royal who accompanied Infantino for the game, as Norwegian Crown Prince Haakon Magnus was pictured by his side.

The impartial President's decision to be accompanied by a figure like Magnus was immediately ridiculed by England fans who screamed 'bias'.
"Infantino is sitting next to as his special guest - only The Prince of Norway ffs. Not biased at all then - he’s not even hiding it," one fan posted on X.
Another added, "Infantino should not be sat with the crown prince of Norway, surely."
A third person posted, "The Prince of Norway conveniently positioned right next to Infantino - almost as if he knows who he’ll be congratulating at the end of this one."
Others took issue with the VAR decisions, such as that of the overturned penalty on Djed Spence.
"Not surprised with some of the decisions in this game when you have the prince of Norway sat next to Infantino," a fourth person posted.
The FIFA President has faced backlash from the likes of Jurgen Klopp for his decisions throughout the World Cup so far, and continues to be under pressure.
Infantino even forced the hand of 72 members of the European Parliament as they wrote to the heads of the football federations on behalf of Belgium, regarding the Bolgun red car appeal.
Despite the side-by-side appearance with Norway's prince, England secured their ticket to the semi-final stage with a 2-1 win courtesy of a Jude Bellingham double.
They now face Argentina and Lionel Messi in the semi-finals.
