Cristiano Ronaldo has been slammed after expressing his desire to leave Manchester United.
On Saturday evening, the Portuguese legend told club officials to let him leave if a satisfactory offer comes in for him.
However, United are adamant that Ronaldo is not for sale and they expect him to be at the club for the upcoming season.

Former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor has had his say on Ronaldo’s situation at United.
He said on talkSPORT: “I’m not surprised one bit, so poor last season. Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t want to play in the Europa League. The last few years of his career, he wants to play in the Champions League.”
“But for me the biggest disappointment if I was a Manchester United fan would be, Ronaldo doesn’t care about Manchester United for me, he cares about Ronaldo.”
“He wants to play Champions League, he wants to score more Champions League goals, he wants to win more titles. Manchester United are a million miles away from any of that.”
Agbonhalor continued to rip into Ronaldo.

The former England player added: “So he just cares about Ronaldo, he doesn’t care about Manchester United. They need him, they need Ronaldo, Manchester United need him, and he wants to jump ship, he doesn’t want to be there.”
“For me, very disappointing from him if I was a Manchester United fan and it just shows it is the Ronaldo show, not the Manchester United show.”
The Portugal captain made a sensational return to Old Trafford last summer, 12 years after leaving for Real Madrid.
Despite his return, United endured a torrid 21/22 season. They failed to get to close to winning anything after early exits in the Champions League and the domestic cups. They were quickly left behind in the title race, they just about managed to sneak into the Europa League after finishing with the club’s lowest ever points tally in the Premier League.
Ronaldo did however end the season as the club's top scorer, and was voted into the PFA Team of The Year.

New manager Erik ten Hag has started work on the training ground with the players as they prepare to set off on their pre season tour of Thailand and Australia at the end of the week. The pressure will be on the Dutchman as he looks to bring success back to the Old Trafford club.
Will Ronaldo still be a United player when the season gets underway? Only time will tell.
