Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko was held at gunpoint by police in a case of mistaken identity, shocking footage shows.
On social media, a clip has been posted of the Frenchman out in Milan and being searched by officers in the middle of the street.
Cars are stopped in the road, with officers pointing guns in the direction of a vehicle. Bakayoko, wearing a green shirt and black hat, is pressed against a police car and being searched vigorously by an officer.

There then appears to be a conversation where one officer informs the colleague conducting the search that Bakayoko is a football player, realising that they have got the wrong suspect.
Bakayoko appears to be free to go by the time the passerby stops filming but the incident led to plenty of uproar on social media.
So his humanity is only important to the police because he's famous? What if he wasn't Bakayoko?

If he wasn't a footballer he doesn't go home. I'd say I'm shocked but that's just how things are at least the guns didn't go off. https://t.co/HYaFbUz9le
I can never not be shocked by this sort of thing. You want to arrest someone but you don't know the person? You haven't seen a picture of the suspect you are looking? Just stop another random black man on the street instead. https://t.co/v6moTA8amT

You need to get sacked, cos if I move 'wrong' due to my innocence. My life is gone just bcos you started off misidentifying me. https://t.co/qiMggcjAYB
Disgusting. https://t.co/BeP3RXERoE

Bakayoko spent last season on loan at AC Milan, his second stint for the Rossoneri, and played 14 times in Serie A as the San Siro club won a first Scudetto for 11 years on the final day.
Milan did have the option to purchase him permanently but Foot Mercato are reporting that the former AS Monaco man is heading back to Marseille after they reached an agreement in principle.
The 27-year-old is poised to sign a four-year deal with the Ligue One side and will finally end his disastrous stint with Chelsea.

After impressing in the Monaco side which won Ligue One and reached the Champions League semi-finals in 2016/17, Bakayoko moved to Chelsea in a £40 million move.
He played 43 times and won the FA Cup in his first season but hasn't played competitively for the Blues since then and has instead spent the majority of his tenure on loan elsewhere.
