Max Verstappen and Christian Horner have been tipped to reunite and create a new Red Bull, a move that could rock Formula 1 to its core.
Since being replaced by Laurent Mekies as Red Bull's team principal and CEO, Horner has been away from the F1 paddock.
Having agreed a settlement with Red Bull for him to leave the organisation entirely, Horner has been tipped to make a quick return to the sport.
Last week, it was claimed that Ferrari president John Elkann is 'apparently really focused on securing Christian Horner's place' as team principal - despite recently agreeing a contract extension with current boss Frederic Vasseur.

Now, Horner has been tipped to link up with Verstappen again, to create what has been described as a 'new Red Bull'.
Horner was at the helm when Verstappen won his first world title in 2021, which started a Red Bull dominance that lasted until 2024.
As reported by Planet F1, former F1 driver Riccardo Patrese has tipped Horner and Verstappen to reunite at Aston Martin.
He said: "The Aston Martin speculation with Christian Horner reminds me of when Michael Schumacher left Benetton and went to Ferrari.

"He took all the best pieces from Benetton to go to Ferrari to build a winning team and then become a world champion. Ross Brawn, Rory Byrne, all these guys that were Benetton with him and he took to Ferrari and then they built a team where he was five times world champion."

Patrese added: "I can see a similar situation happening with Verstappen. They talk for sure. If this is what he thinks it could happen, probably yes, Horner could certainly go there and make a new Red Bull team at Aston Martin!"
Patrese also stated that Verstappen's dad, Jos, would become friends with Horner again if the team can guarantee his son more titles.

He continued: "Maybe after two, three, four years, Christian Horner and Jos Verstappen become friends again. And of course, if there is this possibility to build a team that can go for the championship and Max could be the guy that wins again, I think Jos would stay to one side a little bit.
"As a father I should say, forget all my aggravation and let my son go and have the best opportunity."
As per Planet F1, Horner is currently 'not in active discussions to return to the sport' as he is focusing on spending time with his family.
