Tyson Fury dropped a huge piece of news about his comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov at the launch press conference.

Fury is set to resume his legendary professional career when he returns against top contender Makhmudov on April 11.

The heavyweight bout will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and will air on Netflix, who have broadcast the likes of Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul and Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford.

On Monday, Fury and Makhmudov came face-to-face as they were involved in a pre-fight press conference, with John Fury causing mayhem as he tried to hunt down Carl Froch.

After the presser, the self-proclaimed 'Gypsy King' conducted an interview with presenter Anna Woolhouse and boxing legend Lennox Lewis, who both fronted Netflix's coverage of the press conference.

And Fury gave a revealing answer when asked about his team for his comeback fight, appearing to claim he will be preparing on his own.

"I’m like Clubber Lang," he told Woolhouse. "I’m going to train alone."

Former world heavyweight champion Lewis said that Fury 'knows what to do' given his experience in the fight game.

The 37-year-old added: "I know what to do, I know how to go 12 rounds, I know how to push myself when I need to but I also know when to take a rest when I need to. Boxing, people try to make it so much like rocket science but it’s not.

"As long as you train hard and eat well and get plenty of rest, I think the rest of it if you’re experienced like I’m an experienced veteran in this game sometimes you need people to point stuff out to you and remind you of certain aspects.

"But what I don’t know about my own body now, I’m never going to know."

Who was in Tyson Fury's corner for his last fight?

Fury hasn't fought since his unanimous decision defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in December 2024.

SugarHill Steward was his main trainer, but he also had Andy Lee in his corner, with 'Big' John absent.

Ahead of his comeback, Fury has been training in Thailand, surrounded by his wife and children.

It remains to be seen if he will train alone and who will be in his corner come fight night.
