John Fury goes ballistic and hunts down Carl Froch before Tyson Fury presser

John Fury went ballistic at Carl Froch ahead of a press conference to promote Tyson Fury's comeback fight against Arslan Makhmudov.

Fury will make his long-awaited return to boxing when he takes on Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, April 11.

But the kick-off press conference was soon overshadowed by the presence of his father, John, who confronted DAZN pundit Froch and launched into an expletive-laden rant.

With Froch stood on a platform above him, Fury shouted: "Where the f**k are you? The world's been calling me a f***ing shithouse.

"Put some f***ing respect on the name of John Fury. And get that Carl Froch here. If he wants it, I'm f***ing here.

"And if anyone else wants it - look at it. I'm here. The ultimate f***ing male."

He then walked out of the room, while repeatedly shouting 'run like a f***ing b***h' in Froch's direction.

Fury's rant could hilariously be heard during DAZN's live coverage of the press conference, with presenter Anna Woolhouse talking to camera when the verbal tirade began.

Woolhouse, who was stood alongside Froch and fellow pundit Lennox Lewis, said: "The fun and games have already kicked off. John Fury has been getting stuck into it... you might be able to hear him in the background. He's having some fun and games - he's announced himself."

Froch replied: "He's already started. He's started on me a little bit. He's mentioned my name, 'Carl Froch, if you want to have it, let's have it'. I don't know want he wants me to have!

"Let's just do what we've got to do. Let's be professional, and see what unfolds."

After his initial rant, Fury then walked up a flight of stairs before continuing the very much one-sided war of words.

"Carl Froch, run like a f***ing b***h. All these f***ers, calling me, John Fury, on a f***ing video, like I'm afraid of any man that walks.

"I'm afraid of no man. Only God almighty. And I'm here to prove it to you all.

"F**k this charade. This is f***ing me. John Fury. I don't give a f**k about any man. Put some f***ing respect on my name."

Speaking afterwards to iFL TV, Fury explained his rant: "They've been making videos about John Fury for two years.

"Carl Froch, did you see him run? He ran like a b***h. My missus would have put up a better fight than him.

"You can't mess with this man. I'm the real deal, me. Tried and tested. Done the time for violence. Years in prison, from being a pup.

"I called him out here to fight. I said, 'You're making videos, come and f***ing fight now!' They've been calling me names for years. They hide like f***ing b****es."
