A new training video of Tyson Fury has emerged as he continues to be linked with a comeback in 2026.
Fury, 37, retired from boxing in January of 2025, just a few weeks after losing to Oleksandr Usyk for the second successive time.
Since then, the self-proclaimed ‘Gypsy King’ has not fought despite rumours that he could return this year (2026).
The 37-year-old, according to Ring, was reportedly due to fight fellow Brit Anthony Joshua in 2026, but the pair were supposedly set to have separate bouts early in the year.

However, this was before Joshua was involved in a car crash in Nigeria during which two of his close friends died, and he suffered minor injuries.

It is unclear when Joshua will return to training, as he was only discharged from hospital on December 31. And given the tragic accident, boxing is likely far from his mind at this time.
As for Fury, his future is still unclear, and with Usyk calling Deontay Wilder out, the 'Gypsy King' does not appear to have an array of options available ahead of his proposed comeback bout.
Still, on Friday (January 2), a video of Fury hitting a boxing bag emerged on social media, with fans quick to offer their thoughts on the heavyweight’s current shape.
The clip of Fury also involved sparring with fellow heavyweight Kevin Lerena, which also captured the attention of social media users.
One said: “He was 280 in the Usyk rematch, must be tipping the scales at 310+ here.”
Another added: “He’s struggling to hit the bag for 10 seconds, yeah he’s not winning another fight at world level.”
A third claimed: “He looks slower, lethargic tbh. Not badly. Just had a heavy short retirement and a very big November and December holidays lmao. But if anyone can come back and cause a stir, be better, get back to best its him.”
A fourth commented: “Whenever I think he's in amazing shape for a fight, a shirtless video pops up to prove me wrong. Peak performance dad bod.”
Fury currently boasts a professional record of 34-2-1 winning 24 bouts by knockout. His standout wins came against Wilder (x2) and Wladimir Klitschko.
