Mike Tyson has leaked the date and venue for his superfight with Floyd Mayweather and promised a record-breaking spectacle.
After an exhibition contest against Roy Jones Jr in 2020, Tyson squared off against Jake Paul in an eight-round heavyweight encounter which broke records on Netflix last year.
Tyson lost via unanimous decision at the AT&T Stadium after managing just 18 punches during the fight but viewed just getting into the ring as a victory after coming close to death and requiring eight blood transfusions after an ulcer flare-up which saw him lose 25lbs.
Afterwards, it appeared as though the former heavyweight champion had accepted he had stepped in between the ropes for the final time.

But then in September it was confirmed that he would be returning to the squared circle to face fellow great Mayweather in a 2026 exhibition.
The only information previously provided about the event was that it would be put on by CSI Sports/Fight Sports and take place next year.
However, Tyson, has now revealed that the mammoth bout is set for March and will take place in Africa.

“It’s going to be in March and it’s going to be in Africa,” Tyson told 'An Experience With', as per the Ring Magazine.
“This is going to be incredible. We’re going to break all the records. It’s going to be one of the biggest events in the history of the sport.”
Given the significant difference in weight, it appears as though the fight will be contested under catchweight rules.
There is no word on other rules or whether Tyson will push for two minute rounds as he did against Paul.
Tyson and Mayweather's comments on fight
"This fight is something neither the world nor I ever thought would or could happen," he said in a previous statement on the fight. However, boxing has entered a new era of the unpredictable - and this fight is as unpredictable as it gets.
"I still can't believe Floyd wants to really do this. It's going to be detrimental to his health, but he wants to do it, so it's signed and it's happening!"

Mayweather's last professional fight was against Conor McGregor in 2017 and saw him move to 50-0. In recent years the five-weight world champion has fought a plethora of exhibitions, including Tenshin Nasukawa, Logan Paul, Don Moore, Mikuru Asakura, Deji, Aaron Chalmers and John Gotti III (x2).
"I've been doing this for 30 years and there hasn't been a single fighter that can tarnish my legacy," he said on the bout.
"You already know that if I am going to do something, it's going to be big and it’s going to be legendary. I'm the best in the business of boxing. This exhibition will give the fans what they want."
