Cameras Spot What Jake Paul Said Moments After Devastating Anthony Joshua Punch

Joshua defeated Paul with a knockout blow in the sixth round.

Cameras spotted what Jake Paul said as he hit the ground after being floored by Anthony Joshua's fight-ending punch.

Joshua emerged victorious overnight against Paul in his first professional boxing bout in more than a year.

AJ last appeared inside the ring in September 2024 at Wembley Stadium where he was beaten by Daniel Dubois with the IBF heavyweight title on the line on that occasion.

The fight against Paul took place at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, and was pencilled in to last eight rounds.

However, the fight came to a close in the sixth round and went in Joshua's favour as he knocked Paul down to the canvas for the final time, having done so on several occasions during the bout.

Paul was taken to hospital with a suspected broken jaw as he suffered the second loss of his professional boxing career, the first of which came against Tommy Fury.

Despite the loss, Paul was in good spirits after the fight as he suggested the prospect of taking some time out from boxing after beginning his professional career in 2020.

He said: "I'm feeling good, that was fun, I love this sport. I gave it my all, it's crazy. I had a blast, thank you to all the fans.

"Anthony Joshua is a great fighter, I got beat but that's what this sport is about. I will come back and keep on winning."

Paul added: "I've already won in every single way of life. My family, my beautiful fiancé, this sport has helped me so much in my life.

"I'm going to take a little break. I've been going hard for six years. I'll take some time off. This is amazing."

Cameras captured the final punch and specifically what Paul said as he fell to the canvas upon the final devastating blow from Joshua.

After being cornered, Joshua unleashed a right hook which landed on Paul's chin and he fell to the canvas, saying 'woah' when he was sat on the floor and his eyes wide open in disbelief.

Joshua meanwhile has his sights set on a long-awaited fight against fellow British heavyweight Tyson Fury next year.

Speaking in the ring after the fight after his 29th career victory in 33 fights, Joshua said: "Jake Paul has done really well tonight, I want to give him the props. He got up time and time again. It was difficult in there for him, but he kept trying to find a way. It takes a real man to do that. You have to give Jake credit for trying, but he came up against a real fighter tonight.

"We shook off the cobwebs, I can't wait for 2026. If Tyson Fury is as serious as he says he is, and he wants to put down his Twitter fingers and put on some gloves, and come and fight one of the realest fighters out there, step into there with me next if you're a really bad boy."
