Mike Tyson once sat down with Evander Holyfield to discuss the infamous ear bite and it makes for fascinating viewing.

'Iron Mike' bit part of Holyfield's ear off during their fight in 1997 and was disqualified for the vicious act.

It went down as one of boxing's biggest scandals and the duo discussed it on 'Hotboxin With Mike Tyson'.

The 57-year-old explained why he ultimately came to forgive Tyson despite losing a part of his ear.

Per TMZ, he said:

"People keep asking, 'How are you gonna forgive somebody?'" Holyfield says. "I say, everything that ever happened, at some point in time, I did it."

The two have frequently been pictured together following the incident 23 years ago so time seems to have healed the wound.

Holyfield went on to reveal that he once bit someone in their shoulder but it 'just wasn't on TV', unlike their clash at the MGM Grand Arena.

"Mike bit me, I say I bit somebody too ... it just wasn't on TV.

"I bit a guy in his shoulder. He dropped me, and I didn't know when you had a concussion, you'll bite too."

Holyfield didn't name who he had bit and followed up that who it was did get in contact with him after Tyson bit him.

He says that he was swift to remind him of what he'd done.

"He said, remember when you bit me?

"I said I sure did, b***h! You shouldn't have grabbed me!"

Tyson went on to joke that he made back the $3 million fine he had to pay by taking photos with fans who wanted to reenact the bite.

Holyfield also discussed the incident with Joe Rogan on the UFC commentator's podcast last year.

Per talkSPORT, 'The Real Deal' was told that 'The Baddest Man on the Planet' was set to pull an outrageous stunt for their second fight.

"This prophet before the fight said 'he'll do something in your face area but you've got to stay focused'.

"I thought it was going to be an elbow or a headbutt, but I never ever thought in my life he would bite me on the ear."
