Vince McMahon’s 80th Birthday Guests Received Secret Gift After Signing NDA

Vince McMahon held an 80th birthday party in New York City and select guests at the event received the unusual gift.

The bizarre secret gift Vince McMahon gave to a selection of guests who attended his 80th birthday party has been revealed.

McMahon turned 80 in August and though he has largely kept a low-profile since stepping down from WWE amid a lawsuit alleging sex trafficking and sexual assault, details emerged about an event put on by the former owner to celebrate reaching the milestone.

On the weekend of 22-24 August, McMahon held a lavish bash at the Baccarat Hotel in New York, while there were also live performances at Gotham Hall.

The Undertaker, Kane, John Cena, Jerry Lawler, John Bradshaw Layfield, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, The Miz, Maryse, Titus O'Neil and Bruce Prichard were among the WWE superstars and personalities to attend.

And while the party was largely a secret, details have continued to be released - including a first-seen image of the unusual gift many guests received.

On X, @BookProWrestlers shared a picture of a large McMahon bust which was given to a select amount of 100 guests. A Baccarat book could also be seen in the photo.

The account claims that McMahon decided who received these sculptures and anyone present had to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) as well as being prohibited from using their mobile phones.

Vince McMahon's party had strict phone rule

WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter also accepted an invitation to the function, which saw one official picture featuring a slew of superstars leaked online before it was swiftly deleted.

As confirmed by Slaughter and other guests, phones had to be left in rooms or checked in upon entry as they were not allowed out.

McMahon welcomed all guests with a brief speech as an orchestra played on stage.

“We all sat down to have our dinners, and the New York Symphony was playing when we got there," Slaughter revealed in an interview with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda.

"When we got there, we could hear the orchestra, but we couldn’t see them because they had it curtained off, and all of a sudden a curtain opened up, and there was Vince on the stage, and he said, ‘Welcome to my 80th birthday party. Come down and join me, and let’s have some fun.'

“We all made our way down to the pit there where our tables were, and it was magnificent. It was the most incredible scene, but nobody was allowed to have cell phones. You either had to leave them in your room or check them at the door when you came in. If you needed to call someone, you had to go outside and do it.

"Nobody was allowed to take pictures. They had cameras there for their purposes, but nobody was allowed to have a cell phone out.”

In the most recent development in the lawsuit against McMahon from former WWE employee Janel Grant, his co-defendant John Laurinaitis agreed a settlement and was dropped as a result.

After a 40-year link, McMahon no longer has any involvement with WWE, though his daughter Stephanie is being inducted into the Hall of Fame in Las Vegas in 2026.
