John Cena's Final Two WWE Matches 'Leak' Online And Could Create History

Cena has four more appearances left before retiring from professional wrestling.

WWE's current plans for John Cena's final two matches as a professional wrestler have been 'leaked' online - and they could lead to an astonishing piece of history.

Cena will hang up his boots for the final time on December 13 after competing in his last match at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Prior to that, the 48-year-old has three more appearances in a WWE ring, starting with the November 10 edition of Raw in his home state of Massachusetts.

He is also planned to appear at the following week's Raw in New York City, and at Survivor Series on November 29 in San Diego.

While plans for Cena's final Raw appearances are not yet unknown - it is unclear whether he will have impromptu matches - there have been various rumours circulating over recent weeks about the identity of his final two opponents.

And Wrestling Observer Newsletter have reported the latest surrounding those last matches for Cena.

It is claimed that Cena is currently scheduled to take on Dominik Mysterio at Survivor Series.

Mysterio is the current Intercontinental Champion, having held the belt since winning it in a Fatal-4-Way match at WrestleMania in April.

Should Cena defeat Mysterio to win the Intercontinental Championship, WWE reportedly plan to have him face Gunther in what would be his retirement match.

The 48-year-old has won every singles title in WWE except the Intercontinental Championship - and he would be the first wrestler ever to achieve that particular feat if he does defeat Mysterio.

On his retirement tour, Cena has already become a record-breaking 17-time world champion after defeating Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania.

He has taken on the likes of CM Punk, Sami Zayn, Randy Orton and, most recently, AJ Styles, with the latter match receiving significant acclaim from fans.

Both Cena and Styles paid tribute to a number of their adversaries during their careers in WWE and TNA respectively, with Cena even presenting ring announcer Alicia Taylor with a special TNA-themed introduction for Styles after his entrance.

Some fans have called on Cena to extend his retirement tour to face even more opponents, but he confirmed in a post on Twitter earlier in October that December 13, in Washington D.C., will officially be his final match.

"Despite any speculation or rumours, on July 6, 2024 I announced I would retire from WWE in ring participation," he stated.

"I am far from perfect but strive to be a person whose word has value. 12/13/25 will be my final match."
