Brock Lesnar instantly rejects next fight as he reveals exactly what he will do post-retirement

Brock Lesnar has confirmed his retirement plans and instantly rejected the idea of a celebrity fight in the future.

The 49-year-old looked to have hung up his boots at WrestleMania 42 when he was destroyed by upcoming WWE star Oba Femi in Las Vegas.

However, Lesnar made a shock return and proceeded to renew his rivalry with 'The Ruler' - beating him at the Clash in Italy event to level the score.

It all culminated in one final slugfest in the main event of night one of SummerSlam in Minneapolis, Minnesota - Lesnar's adopted home state.

The two behemoths squared off inside Hell in a Cell, with Femi putting Lesnar away with his 'Fall from Grace' finishing move after a gruelling battle.

After the match, the Beast Incarnate went off-script, asking for a microphone and demanding Femi return to the ring. He referred to the King of the Ring as "the future" and himself as "the past" as he raised Femi's hand.

While there were obvious signs that Lesnar was calling time on his career in the squared circle, he later confirmed his retirement in an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.

"I'm here today to let the world know I'm retired," Lesnar said after calling in to the ESPN show.

"I want to say a big thank you to everybody. Saturday was a very emotional day for me. When Obi Femi slammed me at WrestleMania, I was like, I can't do this again. I think I'm done. I still had some fuel in the tank.

"But Saturday for Brock Lesnar, that's it. That's it for me in the squared circle and in everything else. I just want to give a shout out to everybody on this universe that has followed me since I was a little kid all the way to Saturday.

"I was just a farm kid from South Dakota with a big dream, and a big heart, and a big ass chip on my shoulder. I'm just grateful. Grateful to be 49 years old and to have to be able to do what I did in this lifetime. I thank God and everybody that supported me."

Brock Lesnar immediately turns down celebrity fight offer

Retirement is not easy for athletes and there are so many examples of those who have reversed their decisions. Lesnar, however, is unlikely to join the list.

When McAfee mentioned the possibility of him making big money with a celebrity fight, the former UFC heavyweight champion made it clear that he has no interest whatsoever.

Lesnar shut down McAfee when he replied, "I ain't doing jack s***".

Lesnar plans to get back into hunting at his private farm in Maryfield, Saskatchewan, Canada and will focus on spending time with his children - with two sons pursuing careers in hockey and his daughter Mya targeting competing at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

He stated: "I got some hunting lined up, and I got two boys in hockey. I’m gonna support that, their dreams, as long as that’s feasible and my daughter…She’s got her eye on 2028 Olympics. And just gonna spend some more time with the kids and in the woods and just reap what I’ve sown, you know? Just enjoy life.”
