Paul Heyman has responded after Brock Lesnar made a shock return to WWE to seemingly end retirement rumours after Wrestlemania.
Lesnar was defeated by Oba Femi at Wrestlemania 42 back in April and appeared to go off-script in a last-minute decision which fans believed was his retirement.
He laid down his gloves and boots in the middle of the ring, leaving both the commentary team and his long-term associate Heyman taken aback.
Lesnar made an X symbol with his hands after Heyman entered the ring, the symbol is normally used for superstar injuries to signal that something non-scripted has occurred in the ring.

However, Lesnar made his return on Monday Night Raw attacking Oba as he prepared for his Oba Femi Open Challenge. The former UFC star jumped the Nigerian during his entrance before delivering four F5s, delivering an emphatic response to the retirement questions.
Raw general manager, Adam Pearce, had admitted Lesnarâs retirement paperwork was already filed before Heyman presented him with a signed contract to rematch Oba at Clash which takes place in Italy.
Heyman took to X to respond to Lesnarâs return, writing: âOh, did I forget to mention that BRRRRRRRRRRRROCK LESNAR decided to do something about Oba Femi?
âMy apologies. It must have slipped my mind!â
Fans have speculated that Lesnar's return opens the door for his actual retirement match at WWE Summerslam which takes place in his hometown of Minnesota.
Gunther, who defeated John Cena in his final ever WWE match, remains the favourite for that booking.
Clash will take place in Italy on May 31 at the Inalpi Arena in Turin with tensions expected to intensify in the next few weeks as the Premium Live Event approaches.
WWE have presented a stacked event for their first-ever PLE in Italy with Cody Rhodes defending his Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther and Roman Reigns facing Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat for the World Heavyweight Championship.
