Oba Femi's incredible 85-day body transformation ahead of SummerSlam showdown with Brock Lesnar

WWE's rising star Oba Femi has undergone a dramatic body transformation ahead of his showdown with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

'The Ruler' squares off against the former UFC heavyweight champion in Lesnar's home state of Minneapolis, Minnesota for the third time in what could be 'The Beast Incarnate's' final swansong.

In his WrestleMania debut in Las Vegas, Femi destroyed Lesnar in what looked to be the 49-year-old's last ever match after his post-match antics.

He then made a shock return and levelled the series with a victory at Clash in Italy before a Hell in a Cell encounter was announced for the US Bank Stadium.

Having won the King of the Ring tournament at Crown Jewel, Femi relinquished his world title opportunity in order to put an end to his rivalry.

Well aware how dangerous Lesnar is, Femi looks to have locked in for the bout.

On Monday, WWE held a weigh-in ahead of the contest and Femi tipped the scales at 302 lbs. The 6ft 6 behemoth had previously been billed at 310 lbs, making him eight pounds lighter.

WWE have a reputation for not always providing accurate weights but former shotputter Femi looked noticeably leaner than he did back on May 4 as he removed his shirt - with Triple H's reaction immediately catching the eye.

For his early days on the main roster, the powerhouse had a bulky look as he decimated every opponent in his path.

Fast forward a few months and while his hulking size has not changed, the 28-year-old appears more ripped than ever, with a chiselled physique including abs.

At just 28, Femi is seen as the next big thing in WWE and someone who has the potential to be a main event player for years to come.

And while working with Lesnar, one of the all-time greats, Femi has had plenty of advice passed on to him by his SummerSlam opponent.

Paul 'Triple H' Levesque peeled back the curtain and revealed that away from the ring, Lesnar regularly invites Lensar into dressing room and teaches the prospect a number of important lessons for hours.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, the WWE legend and chief content officer said: "He'd probably suplex me for saying this, but Brock is hands-on with Oba Femi. He sees something special there and he's like, 'Okay kid, come with me and I'm going to teach you. Here's all the things you got to learn.'

"He brings him in his room in the afternoon, they sit for hours and talk about this stuff, right? It's that level of stuff that brings this next generation up and I think we'll take it to the next level and I'm excited to see it and for every star that we have now sitting at the top, there's a guy underneath him, an Oba, a Trick [Williams], a Carmelo [Hayes], a Je'Von [Evans], of all these people that are sitting underneath him just soaking up this knowledge and I think that's going to make the next generation thrive."
