Manchester United are taking on Arsenal during the sixth game week of the Premier League season.

The clash sees an in-form Arsenal side, who sit top of the league, visit a mixed-form Manchester United side who have won their last three games.

This match will be the biggest test for Erik ten Hag so far, and comes on the back of the side winning with two clean sheets in the last two games – both 1-0 victories over Southampton and Leicester City respectively.

Arsenal have defeated every single one of their opponents so far, and have scored 13 goals in the process, with new signing Gabriel Jesus impressing immensely after his £45 million move from Manchester City earlier this summer.

There are three key players that United fans are looking out for on the line-up sheet: Cristiano Ronaldo, Casemiro and Antony.

The former two are both Brazilian acquisitions that the club have invested in this summer, with fans incredibly eager to see their new signings start at Old Trafford for the first time.

Cristiano Ronaldo has spent the last three victories on the bench, although an impressive cameo against Leicester City on Thursday has warranted calls for the player to start.

Speaking on Casemiro, Erik ten Hag said he thinks the midfielder is ready to be ‘unleashed’ against Arsenal.

On Antony, Erik ten Hag said: "He can deal with that (pressure). He lives for football and enjoys it. He has proved himself already he has been in the Champions League, Brazilian national team and an Olympic gold medalist.”

Ten Hag has issued as challenge for Cristiano Ronaldo to thrive under the Dutchman’s leadership, and said in his pre-match press conference: I will be his friend. Sometimes I will be his teacher. It depends on the situation.

“As we all know, he didn’t have the pre-season and you can not miss the pre-season, it’s a base.

Especially the game we play, the way of play is not the type in comparison with last year. It depends on the demands, co-operation and demands certain positioning, in and out of possession. And the other thing is the fitness."
