Arsenal could be set for a busy summer transfer window as they look to build on their Premier League success by bringing in serious talent to strengthen their squad, and now they have been linked to a surprising name.
Mikel Arteta’s side lifted their first English top-flight in 22 years when they collected the 2026 title; however, they missed out on achieving an incredible double as they lost to PSG in the Champions League final.
Former Gunners star Martin Keown spoke previously about the need for Arsenal to strengthen their attacking options with a real need to find players that can score consistently.
Opinions like this have seen the club linked with several attacking players ahead of the opening of the transfer window on June 15, and now they have been linked with another player, one who has scored 43 goals across the last two seasons for his club.

According to David Ornstein in The Athletic, the club are set to make a move for winger Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge.

It is believed a deal would cost the Premier League champions around £34.5 million to bring the Greek international to the club.
Tzolis has impressed across the last three campaigns, as he scored 43 goals for Club Brugge across two seasons, having found the net 23 times for Fortuna Dusseldorf in 2. Bundesliga in 2023-24.
The 24-year-old does have Premier League experience, having previously featured 14 times in the division for Norwich City.
He is not the only left-winger that the club are exploring in bringing to the club, as it was reported earlier in the week that they had made an inquiry about Juventus’ 21-year-old Turkey international Kenan Yildiz.
However, they were rebuffed in this approach, as they were told under no circumstance that Yildiz would be leaving the Italian giants for London this summer.

Morgan Rogers remains their primary target
It had been reported earlier in the summer that Arteta had been personally leading the talks to bring Morgan Rogers to the club in order to strengthen the attacking options of the Gunners.
Arsenal are one of several clubs linked to the Aston Villa star, who has impressed this season as he helped Unai Emery’s side lift the Europa League before now turning his attention to the World Cup with England.
Orstein has reported that the deal for Tzolis would not impact their pursuit of Rodgers, with the hope that they would be able to bring both players to the Emirates.

Rogers is believed to be of interest to Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City, so Arsenal could face a tough battle to bring the player to the club, with it believed that a fee of £100 million may be required.
While the 23-year-old will be fully focused on his task with England this summer, it is believed his team will be working in the background to secure the best deal for his future, whether that be at Villa or elsewhere.
According to the BBC, it is believed that Rogers is open to a move to Arsenal this summer.
