Israel Adesanya ruthlessly taunted arch rival Paulo Costa moments before knocking him out at UFC 253.

Adesanya ended his toxic feud with Costa by destroying the previously-unbeaten Brazilian in the second round of their UFC middleweight bout last month.

And 'The Last Stylebender' issued one final message to 'The Eraser' before the start of their title showdown.

"Woop! I'll show you who's skinny," he said, stretching against the Octagon.

The 31-year-old put on a striking clinic to defend his UFC middleweight title against Costa, whose slammed the champion over his antics.

The Nigerian-born Kiwi 'dry-humped' his stricken opponent while he was on the ground.

Costa reacted angrily, saying: "Adesanya is human trash. This has become a grave situation!

"I saw his disgusting action after [the] fight and I will not stop until I have my revenge."

In the video itself, he goes onto say: "I disapprove 100%... To me, this is mortal now. Nobody can stop me.

"I want my rematch and you know I will wait for you."

He added: "I'm not [making an] excuse here to my people, to my fans. But I will be 100% to fight him and to make him pay. That's my words. Save my words."

An immediate rematch is extremely unlikely following the nature of Costa's defeat with Adesanya already thinking about his next opponent.

He's eyeing No.3 ranked UFC middleweight Jared Cannonier if he can get past Robert Whittaker at UFC 254.

But Dana White believes Adesanya should fight former UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

When asked about their Twitter war and them potentially facing off against each other, the UFC president replied: "That's the fight to make, 100 percent. I think that a fight between those two is massive."
