Israel Adesanya embarrassed Paulo Costa at UFC 253 last night after 'dry-humping' the Brazilian while he was down on the ground.

Adesanya successfully defended his middleweight title on Saturday night and looked dominant on his way to second round victory.

After being declared winner by referee Jason Herzog, 'The Last Stylebender' decided he wasn't done with Costa.

He stood over the dazed Brazilian and thrust his hips back and forth in a 'humping' motion before continuing his celebrations.

While fans were impressed with Adesanya's performance in the octagon, the same cannot be said for his conduct after the fight.

Despite his conduct after the fight being questioned, there is no doubting the 31-year-old's credentials as the promotion's top middleweight.

The Nigerian-born Kiwi peppered Costa's with stinging low kicks which stopped him in his tracks.

He continued the assault by landing a high kick before dropping 'The Eraser' three minutes into the second round.

Adesanya then ended the fight on the mat with some vicious ground and pound.

He told reporters following the fight that Costa underestimated his intelligence once inside the cage.

"I was so fresh," Adesanya explained per MMA Fighting.

"I looked over and I could see he was sitting down. In the second round, his antics, what they want - they want me to stand there. 'Come, come, why you running, come here.' They just want me to stand there so you can punch me.

"I'm not stupid, dummy. I told you he's dumb. I'm smart. I understand his f**king game."
