The 'Notorious' has just two fights left on his current UFC deal as he recovers from injury.
Of course, the 33-year-old broke his leg in the opening round of his trilogy clash with Poirier at UFC 264.

And McGregor cowboy done more than McGregor Aldo.
I currently hold 8 of the UFC's top 10 ppv's.
With two fights left on my contract, I will look to finish with the full top 10 in ppv's.

Having suffered back-to-back defeats to 'The Diamond', Michael Bisping has advised McGregor takes a contest to shake off the ring rust.
The UFC legend has proposed a mega match-up with Diaz and, if victorious, it would set up a monstrous fourth meeting with Poirier.
Speaking on his podcast, he said: "Hopefully, we see that fight.
"I'm not sure if he wants to come back, Conor I'm talking about, after what's probably going to be about a year's lay-off and fighting Dustin for the third time.
"You kind of want to get your whistle wet. Find your mojo, blow off that ring rust.
"Nate would be the guy. Then, if Conor beats Nate, then he fights Dustin, because, you know, they are going to do a fourth fight.
"The fourth fight will be absolutely massive, but I think if I was Conor's manager, if I was advising him, I would say 'take a tune-up fight,' you know what I mean?"
McGregor and Diaz are 1-1 in their memorable two-fight series.
The Stockton slugger won their first meeting by submission, with the Irishman exacting revenge in their second meeting.
For some time now, a rubber match has been mooted but to no avail.
Though Bisping reckons it's the perfect time to do McGregor vs. Diaz 3 before making McGregor vs. Poirier 4.
