Dana White doesn't understand what all the fuss is about regarding the controversial fighter pay in the UFC.

UFC stars Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou have complained about fighter pay in a topic which continues to dominant the sport of MMA.

The sad situation regarding UFC women's strawweight Cheyanne Buys reignited the talk of UFC fighter pay.

She broke down in tears during her post-fight press conference after revealing her dire financial state.

But White has taken a bullish stance on UFC fighter pay, saying it's 'the nature of the beast' in a stern response.

He told MMA Junkie: "There's a lot of people on their way up who are broke, struggling, trying to make it.

"The flip side to that is she's 1-1 in the UFC and made 80 grand in the last six months.

"This is one of those sports you've got to win. If you win, everything's good. If you lose, everything's bad.

"That's the nature of this beast."

UFC fighter pay has even got Jake Paul talking and the YouTuber-turned-boxer pulled no punches when discussing how White pays his roster.

"Dana White... you may have bullied your way to controlling thousands of fighters' careers, but I have never said I want to sign with the UFC, nor will I ever. Maybe I would consider letting you co-promote one [of] my events against a UFC champion like you did for Conor when he fought Floyd," the 24-year-old wrote in a social media post.

"Because you wouldn't let Conor actually do it himself without you taking your cut. You live in lies and every major fighter on your roster has complained about pay. Conor, [Jon] Jones, [Jorge] Masvidal, [Nate] Diaz, [Francis] Ngannou. You even make up fake belts to sell tickets instead of giving Amanda Nunes her opportunity to headline.

"Remember Dana you were a cardio kickboxing instructor and didn't even create the UFC (Gracie and Davie created it, the Fertittas saved it, and the fighters made it popular).

"YOU'RE a bald bum who can't do an interview now without being asked about me. Pay your fighters more!"
