Jones, who dominated the light heavyweight division, hasn't fought since he successfully defeated Dominick Reyes by unanimous decision at UFC 247 in February 2020.
However, Bones has continued to tease fans on social media with his remarkable physique as he prepares for the move to heavyweight.
Jones once again took to Instagram to share new pictures of him training, with one image highlighting his transformation into a heavyweight MMA fighter.

The future UFC Hall of Famer wrote: "If you're the baddest motherf****r in the room, you're probably not training with the right people."
Unsurprisingly, Jones' hotly anticipated arrival at heavyweight has already left MMA fans saying that he will be "lethal" upon his return to the octagon.
One Instagram user wrote: "The heavyweight division just doesn't understand yet... they will."
While another MMA fan said: "Bruh, Jones gonna be a problem in the heavyweight division."
A third posted: "Damn, Jones really got big."
And a fourth claimed: "Stipe [Miocic] doesn't know what's coming."
Someone else added: "Heavyweight Jones is gonna be lethal."

Jones has been linked with super-fights with UFC star Stipe Miocic and heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.
However, UFC president Dana White has ruled out an immediate title fight for Jones against Ngannou, saying that a clash with Miocic would be more likely to happen.
"Well, a lot of people didn't think [Miocic] was the heavyweight GOAT," he told ESPN.
"He is the heavyweight GOAT. He is, the guy is. He's put in the work and done all the things you need to be the heavyweight GOAT.
"He is [the GOAT], that's a fact. And I don't know, we'll see what's next. I like that he's fired up and wants to fight again.
"But yeah, I mean listen, we could do Jon and Stipe, too."
Jones has since hit out at White on social media over the idea of fighting Miocic, only to later delete the tweets from Twitter.
