Joe Rogan has warned Donald Trump about becoming a 'monster' after the US president threatened to use a 1807 law amid protests across Los Angeles.
Tensions boiled over in the Los Angeles area after a week of arrests were made by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.
It sparked violent protests against the Trump administration and ICE.

Trump's decision to send US Marines and National Guard troops to Los Angeles to support the federal response to the unrest has opened a volatile chapter in his mass deportation campaign.
However, Rogan said 'rounding up gang members and shipping them to El Salvador with no due process' was 'dangerous'.
"We gotta be careful that we don't become monsters while we're fighting monsters," he said on an episode of his podcast last April.

Rogan's claim was put to Trump, who agreed with the UFC commentator.
"Oh, I agree with that a hundred percent, yeah," he said. "We want to be careful. We are careful."
When asked about the various court challenges to the deportations and court orders admonishing his administration for not following the law, Trump called those being deported 'criminals'.
He claimed Venezuelan 'criminals are now living happily in the United States of America, and we're getting 'em out'.

Trump added: "And I was elected to get 'em out, and we're getting them out, getting them out fast, and we're getting them out legally."

Having deployed the US Marines and National Guard, Trump revealed he would consider invoking the Insurrection Act 1807 to tackle the public unrest in the Californian city.
This law allows the president to use active-duty military personnel to enact law-enforcement duties inside the US.

On Tuesday, he told the press: "If there’s an insurrection, I would certainly invoke it. We’ll see."
The current use of troops is not covered by the Insurrection Act, but Trump instead cited a similar federal law named Title 10.
The rarely used Insurrection Act was written in broad terms, which means presidents have a wide range on when and how its power can be mobilised.
