Channel 4 hosts Claire Balding and Jamie Laing were forced to apologise live on TV just after the competition of the Boat Race.
The famous rowing race between the Cambridge University Boat Club and the Oxford University Boat Club saw both the men and women compete to hold the 2026 title this Saturday afternoon.
It was a memorable day for the Oxford women as they secured their first victory since 2016 in the Boat Race.
Jamie Lang, the Channel 4 reporter for the race, was conducting interviews immediately after the event with the winning team when some foul language could be heard.

Cox Louis Corrigan shouted: "What a f****** awesome day."
This led the former Made in Chelsea star to apologise to viewers at home, with Balding echoing this message.

It appeared to be quite an emotional day for the Oxford team as their stroke and captain struggled to find the words to sum up her feelings when she was being interviewed after the victory.
Heidi Long admitted: "I'm quite overwhelmed."
The dark blues made a blistering start to the race, and they would maintain their advantage throughout to ensure they would be victorious by a margin of 9.4 seconds.
Victory this afternoon allowed the Oxford women to celebrate only their 31st success in this historic race.
Oxford’s men's team could not make it a perfect day for the university this year in the Boat Race, as they would lose to Cambridge later on in the afternoon.
The light blues powered ahead in the final third after it had been nip and tuck throughout before they pulled clear to triumph by 11.02 seconds.
Cambridge made it four wins in a row with their victory in the 171st University Boat Race on London's River Thames.
This was their seventh victory in the last eight years and now means that Cambridge have 88 wins to Oxford's 81.
