NFL star Keion White has been shot during an altercation after attending Super Bowl LX.
San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman White was shot in the ankle during an incident in the early hours of Monday morning.

"Officers rendered aid and requested paramedics to the scene. The victim was transported to [a] local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries."

The shooting occurred after a "verbal altercation between two groups inside a business," police added.
White, 27, had earlier attended Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday.
White's injuries are not considered career or life-threatening and he underwent successful surgery on Monday afternoon, according to 49ers.
"Keion White was a victim of a shooting and sustained a bullet wound to his ankle this morning in San Francisco," the 49ers confirmed in a statement to NBC News.
The NFL side added that they "will provide further updates when appropriate".
The San Francisco police department's Strategic Investigation Unit is currently investigating the shooting and no arrests have been made.

On Sunday, White posted a series of photos and videos to his Instagram account of him attending the Super Bowl, where he watched his former team - the New England Patriots - lose to the Seattle Seahawks.
The showpiece event of the NFL calendar saw the Seahawks defeat the New Patriots 29-13 to claim only their second Vince Lombardi trophy.
The 49ers acquired White via a trade in 2025, sending a 2026 sixth-round pick to New England and a 2026 seventh-round draft selection in return.
He has since featured in 47 games, starting 20 - registering 100 tackles and 7.5 sacks.
White is the second 49ers player to be shot in San Francisco within the past 18 months, with Ricky Pearsall also shot in the chest during a robbery attempt in August 2024.
A teenage suspect charged with the shooting is currently awaiting trial and could face up to seven years in prison.
