Jalen Hurts has spoken out after he was involved in a bizarre incident as the Philadelphia Eagles fell to a third successive defeat in the NFL.
The reigning Super Bowl champions lost 22-19 to the Los Angeles Chargers, leaving them with eight wins and five losses so far this season.
But the Eagles have hit a rut at a critical stage of the year, having also lost to the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys in recent weeks.
The most unusual moment in Monday night's game involved Hurts, who lost the ball twice on the same play.
It happened in the second quarter when he was intercepted by the Chargers' Da'Shawn Hand.
The ball was knocked loose and Hurts recovered it before he was then tackled just moments later.
As per the BBC, it is the first time since records began in 1978 that a player has turned the ball over twice during a single play.

On X, he wrote: "The fantasy points on that play: Jalen Hurts loses 2 points for the interception, then loses 2 more points for fumbling the ball after recovering the other fumble on the play.
"-4 points on one play. Never seen that before."
Another fan posted: "Jalen Hurts is simply Justin Fields surrounded by a bunch of Ferraris."
Hurts struggled throughout the game, ending with a career-high four interceptions, including one on the final play as the Eagles were driving with a chance to win the game.
After the match, Hurts accepted responsibility for the Eagles' defeat.
He said: “The ‘we’ — I look at it, it’s ‘I'.
“It starts with me, how I play, how I lead, and my ability to go out there and figure it out.
"There are no excuses.”
Hurts continued: “I didn’t play well enough. Too many turnovers.
“Lots of opportunities, especially when we get on the other side of the 50, and I wasn’t able to get us in the box.”
Although clearly disappointed, he stressed the importance of the team responding to the setback.
“It definitely stings,” he said.
“But how do you respond? That’s the only way I know how to look at it.
"You’re going to see what type of resolve does this team have, what’s in us to respond the way we want to. We’ve just got to dig.”
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni reinforced the need for both himself and the team to support Hurts in those situations.
Sirianni also dismissed speculation that he would bench Hurts for Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
