Steph Curry drops massive LeBron James hint that has fans very excited ahead of new NBA season

Stephen Curry's comment about LeBron James got NBA fans talking.

Stephen Curry has sparked excitement among NBA fans after what he said about LeBron James.

Curry and James joined forces as the duo inspired Team USA to Olympic glory at the Paris Games earlier this summer.

USA beat France in the gold medal match-up as Curry won his first Olympic gold medal of his distinguished basketball career.

And the Golden State Warriors star hopes to team up with 'King' in the future, hinting at an NBA partnership.

"Hopefully, there will be more experiences in the future, even if we’re teammates or not," he said.

Curry's comments got fans online very excited as they talked up a potential reunion at Los Angeles or Golden State Warriors.

One X user wrote: "Steph been saying some crazy things this offseason. Def putting pressure on the Warriors front office to make some moves."

A second said: "Just team up already."

A third added: "Yeah they definitely teaming up again."

A fourth commented: "They will team up because both their franchises don’t give them the respect they deserve."

Another proposed: "Steph to the Lakers or LeBron to the Warriors?"

Curry and James could run it back in 2028 to defend their Olympic title on home soil.

But a blockbuster link-up in the NBA could also potentially be on the cards.

The point guard recently penned a new deal with the Warriors, keeping him at the franchise until the 2026/27 season.

As for James, he signed a new two-year deal with the Lakers this summer.

But if the 39-year-old turns down his player option then he could hit the free market after the 2026/27 season, meaning he's free to team up with Curry at Golden State or another NBA team.

Curry has spent his entire NBA career with the California-based side while James has played for Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and the Lakers.
