Donald Trump has made his feelings clear on Conor McGregor as shocking Ibiza nightclub fight video emerges

The American President has revealed how he really feels about the former UFC champion.

Donald Trump has already made his opinion on Conor McGregor public as the former UFC fighter has gone viral online.

Former two-weight UFC champion McGregor once again made headlines on Wednesday after a clip of him punching another man while partying in an Ibiza nightclub went viral online.

It's not yet known exactly what caused the altercation, but Ibiza nightclub owner Wayne Lineker, the younger brother of England football legend Gary, later revealed that the other man involved was his friend Joe Gomez.

In response to the significant backlash over the incident, McGregor took to social media to explain why he was out partying in Ibiza, while also sharing a photo of him meeting with US President Trump.

And in the wake of McGregor's post, Trump's previous comments summing up his feelings towards the fighter have resurfaced.

Back in March, Trump met with Irish Taoiseach Michael Martin as part of his St Patrick’s Day engagements.

During the meeting, the American President was asked by media to pick his favourite Irish person, to which Trump said there were 'many', before stating: “I do happen to like your fighter.

“He’s got the best tattoos I’ve ever seen,” he said referring to McGregor.

“Conor’s great, right. But you have a lot of great Irish fighters actually, great fighters," Trump added.

“Ireland’s always had a lot of good fighters. You know why, because they’re tough people, they’re smart people and they’re passionate people.

Later in his St Patrick's Day celebrations, Trump met with McGregor in The White House to discuss various topics, including immigration in Ireland.

The UFC fighter was even granted permission to hold his own press conference within the famous press room within The White House.

Trump's meeting with McGregor was met with significant backlash online as it came less than a year after the Irishman was found liable of assaulting Nikita Hand by a civil court jury in Dublin.

Hand had accused the former champion of raping her at a hotel in the Irish capital after a Christmas night out in December 2018.

McGregor denied all the allegations made against him but was ordered to pay Hand more than €248,000 in damages.
