Conor McGregor has cause some serious doubts about his UFC return after a clip of a recent public appearance went viral.
It's been over four years since former UFC champion McGregor last stepped into the octagon to face former rival Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.
Since then, the Irishman has been involved in several controversies away from the sport, including being found liable for the assault of Nikita Hand in a Dublin hotel six years ago
Despite this, rumours of McGregor's comeback have ramped up in recent weeks, with the man himself stating that he will headlining the upcoming card set to take place at The White House next year.

But it now appears that the fight could be in doubt, after a concerning video of the former UFC fighter emerged online.

During his time away from the UFC, McGregor has become heavily involved with the bare knuckle fighting championship (BKFC), becoming a part owner of the organisation in April last year.
In an event earlier this month, former UFC fighters Mike Perry and Jeremy Stephens faced off in New Jersey's Prudential Center, with McGregor sat ringside having suggested he would fight the winner.

While at the event, McGregor spoke to popular MMA journalist Ariel Helwani about his comeback next summer, confirming that he will feature on The White House card regardless of if Chandler is his opponent.
“I'm coming back with the White House. I'm having fun with all this, but I'm under no illusion… my comeback for mixed martial arts is paramount," McGregor promised.
"I'd love it to be Chandler… Something good is coming was what they said.”
But fans aren't convinced that the former featherweight and lightweight champion will ever return to the octagon, pointing out that he isn't looking good ahead of what would be a major comeback.

Posting on X, one fan wrote: "McGregor looks awful, he's never fighting again in UFC, much less on the White House card."
While one claimed: "He’s like a cartoon character at this point. The young, hungry Conor would hate this version of himself."
And another admitted: "Man it’s hard to even listen to him anymore. The old Conor is long gone"

Despite McGregor's promises that he is on The White House card, UFC president and CEO Dana White has repeatedly confirmed that the matchmaking for the card has not yet taken place, saying no fights will be booked until early next year.
Several other fighters have expressed interest in featuring on the card, with a meeting between Jon Jones and heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall also heavily rumoured, should the Brit win his upcoming fight against Ciryl Gane.
