Conor McGregor says his existing UFC contract is 'void' following the promotion's new media rights deal as he dropped a huge update on his fighting future.
McGregor hasn't fought since his crushing defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.
He was scheduled to return against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in the summer of 2024 until a toe injury forced him to withdraw.
The 37-year-old is now calling for a spot on the UFC White House card, with Chandler mooted as a potential opponent.

But Dana White has ruled out the 'Notorious' returning against Chandler, with the Irishman sending a message to the UFC boss.
McGregor, however, is hellbent on competing at the White House, revealing he is 'warming up now' for a fight in Washington.

A lot has changed in the UFC since McGregor last competed inside the famed Octagon as the promotion struck a whopping $7.7 billion deal with Paramount.

The UFC left their pay-per-view model under ESPN to go on the subscription-based platform.
McGregor has revealed that he is in talks with the UFC over a new deal after claiming his current contract is 'void' given he earned PPV points.
"I’m going into negotiations with the Ultimate Fighting Championship in February," he said during a Roblox live stream.
"So the company has 4xed its profit, and my contract, essentially, is void right now because there’s no more pay-per-view, whereas my contract was based on pay-per-view sales.

"I’m the highest-generating pay-per-view fighter of all time. The pay-per-view system is done, I’m due a new contract.
"So, we’re going into negotiations in February, and I’m very interested to see how it goes."

McGregor added: "I’m warming up now for the White House fight. I’m gonna be at it, for sure. It’s gonna be insane, the White House card is gonna be."

His bouts in the UFC garnered huge PPV numbers, having been involved in a series of money-spinning fights, including his UFC 229 clash against Khabib Nurmagomedov - which had a whopping buy-rate of 2.4 million.
But the former two-weight UFC champion is now looking for a new contract after the MMA leaders landed a mega deal with Paramount, which kicks off on Saturday with UFC 324.

"But, yeah, fighter pay is gonna be good."
