Dana White says 'a lot of s**t went down' between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler during TUF filming

The two have been named as coaches for the upcoming season and are expected to face off against each other later this year.

UFC boss Dana White has hinted that Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler may have gotten into a bit of an altercation during filming for The Ultimate Fighter.

The two have been named as coaches for the upcoming season and are expected to face off against each other later this year.

Upon beginning the series White claimed that both fighters were ‘respectful’ toward each other as they took on their coaching duties.

But now? Well, some s**t has gone down.

Following UFC 285, Dana White addressed the two fighters and the upcoming season of TUF.

He told reporters: “Chandler and Conor were very respectful to each other.

"And then some things started escalating that you will see on the show and they do not like each other now.

"I don't look at stuff that's good for the show or things like that. Whatever happens, happens. The stuff that just happened shouldn't happen.

"I'm getting old boys, I'm getting old. I would have been in there sooner back in the old days, but yeah, not good.

"A lot of s**t went down on Friday."

The UFC honcho also confirmed that while the pair are set to do battle there was no concrete date as of yet.

He said: “Trust me if there was [a date], you would have heard about it already.

“As soon as there is, we’ll announce it, but no not yet.”

Both fighters have had a rough record in recent times, with both fighters 1-3 in their last four outings.

McGregor hasn’t thought since July 2021 when a leg injury forced him to the sidelines.

However, he was seen cage side at UFC 285 giving some advice to Jalin Turner during his main card clash with Mateusz Gamrot.

Clearly, the coach in him was shining through.

He was also in attendance to help shoot some scenes with Jake Gyllenhaal for the upcoming Road House remake.

The two were spotted in the crowd sitting with each other after filming a couple of scenes at weigh-ins and inside the Octagon itself.

As for Chandler, his last fight was a submission loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 281.
