Golf prodigy Charlie Woods looks like he'll one day rival his dad Tiger on the golf course after displaying an identical swing ahead of this weekend's PNC Championship.

Charlie, the son of 15-time major winner Tiger and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren, has already turned in a number of impressive performances in junior tournaments across the United States.

And recent video evidence has led to fans to declare that 11-year-old Woods Jr. might just develop into a top professional after he was spotted practicing his swing alongside Tiger ahead of the start of Saturday's tournament in Orlando.

The footage shows the father and son working on their swings with Charlie's action drawing more than few comparisons to that of his dad's.

The PNC Championship in Florida features family members competing alongside one another in a 20-team, 36-hole scramble.

It will be the first time Woods has competed with his son - while the five-time Masters winner has caddied for him in the past.

"He's starting to understand how to play," said 44-year-old Tiger last summer. "He's asking me the right questions.

"I've kept it competitive with his par, so it's been just an absolute blast to go out there and just be with him. It reminds me so much of me and my dad growing up.

"I wish I had his move. I analyse his swing all the time. I wish I could rotate like that and turn my head like that and do some of those positions, but those days are long gone, and I have to relive them through him."

Fellow American golfer Justin Thomas said earlier this month that Charlie 'talks trash like his dad'.

Thomas is set to play with his father Mike this weekend, and the former number one claims that a rivalry is already beginning between himself and Charlie.

Thomas said: "For some reason, Charlie just always wants to beat me. It doesn't matter what it is. Although he's never beaten me in golf or a putting contest, he still talks trash just like his dad.

"It will be fun. We'll have that, like, inner tournament within a tournament, try to shut his little mouth up, but it will be fun."
