Vincent Kompany is reportedly targeting two Arsenal players as his first two signings for Bayern Munich.
Despite a disappointing season that ended with relegation from the Premier League for Kompany’s Burnley, the Belgian attracted interest from German Bundesliga giants Bayern.
On Wednesday, it was confirmed that the 38-year-old has become the Bavarian club’s new head coach, replacing Thomas Tuchel.

Looking ahead to the summer transfer window, it has been reported that Kompany is targeting an Arsenal duo.
As reported by FootballTransfers, the former Manchester City captain wants to sign midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga, who spent the season on loan at Luton Town.
The report stated: “The former Burnley boss, who will work with Max Eberl and Christoph Freund over transfer planning, wants to sign his former protegee at Anderlecht via a loan deal in order to resurrect his career.”

However, it is been claimed that Bayern are looking to sign the 24-year-old on loan, but Arsenal would rather sell the player.
In addition, according to a report by The Mirror, Bayern are monitoring Gunners full-back Oleksandr Zinchenko.
The Ukrainian has fallen down Mikel Arteta’s pecking order, with the likes of Jakub Kiwior and Takehiro Tomiyasu getting the odd over him.

With current left-back Alphonso Davies linked with a move to Real Madrid, it has been reported that Bayern are keeping a close eye on Zinchenko.
Kompany played with Zinchenko for three years during their time spent together at City.
Having played for both Pep Guardiola and Arteta, it is believed that Zinchenko will have no problem adapting to Kompany’s style of play.

Bayern have also been linked with AC Milan full-back Theo Hernandez, who could cost a lot more than Zinchenko.
The Italian giants are reportedly holding out for a transfer fee of £68 million to part ways with the Frenchman.
